WFM_GWNR_046 - Specify Number Range for Categories for WFD Groupware Objects

In this IMG activity, you define a number range for categories for groupware objects in Workforce Deployment.

If a new groupware object is created in the groupware that is supposed to be related to a particular WFD assignment, it has to have an ID in the category. The ID corresponds to the higher-level assignment to which the new assignment is to be appended. The ID is a number from the number range listed, which you define in this IMG activity.

1. To create a new interval, choose Change Intervals.
   The Maintain Number Range Intervals screen appears.
2. Choose Insert Interval .
3. Enter the required values:

• No.: Enter a sequential number, 01.

• From Number: Enter the first number of the number range interval, such as 0000000001.

• To Number: Enter the last number of the number range interval, such as 9999999999.

• Current Number: Displays the last number assigned to an internal number range interval, for example, 1000002809.

• Ext: Do not set this indicator (= "internal").

1. Choose Insert.
2. Save your entries.

Note that each number must not appear more than once.
