In this customizing activity, you maintain identification object categories for entering materials in Settlement Management documents from the supplier's material number.

Alternative to, or in addition to direct entry, the material can also be determined by means of the supplier's material number. You define the determination logic in the BAdI WLF_ID_OBJECT_MATERIAL for the identification object category.

The function is only relevant for Settlement Management documents with logistics data.

In Customizing of the settlement document type, you define whether entry is to occur directly or by way of identification objects. There, you can also define a default identification object category.
