In this Customizing activity, you specify settings for the Check Manager function used in Settlement Management.

For the pre-defined check events, you define check groups containing the check definitions. Then you assign the check groups to settlement document types.

• You have implemented the check classes that you want to use for checks.

• You have defined the settlement blocks that you want to use for checks.

• You have defined transfer groups for transfer events 80 to 85 that you want to use for check groups.

1. Select the check event for which you want to define a check group.
2. Create a check group for the check event.

Optionally, specify a transfer group for changing settlement document data before the check (transfer events 84 or 85 for a check on header or item level, respectively)

1. Define the checks for a check group.

Specify the check class. Optionally, assign transfer groups to change settlement document data when the check returns an error or a success. Optionally, specify settlement blocks.

1. Assign the check groups to the relevant settlement document types for the check event.
