WLF_VC_SEM_TYPE_C - Specify Semantic Types

In this Customizing activity, you specify the semantic types and assign them to SAP Object Types in Settlement Management.

Semantic types and their assignment to SAP object types are already defined in the standard delivery. Although you must not change these semantic types, you can create new ones if needed as indicated in step one below.

The configuration comprises the following steps:

1. In dialog box Maintain Semantic Types, you choose the relevant semantic type or create an additional one in the namespace provided for customer use.

2. For a selected Semantic Type, you can assign the selected SAP Object Types in the Assign SAP Object Types dialog box.

The entries in the standard delivery should not be changed. You can implement the logic for the additional semantic types and their assignment by using the Business Add-In (BAdI) Semantic Type Determination.
