This Business Add-In is used by function module WRF_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT, which is used to update the material data in editing of the material core master data and in the material copy function. Exceptions to this are the methods MODIFY_GENERAL_DATA and GET_EXCLUDED_FIELDS, which are used within dialog processing.

The BAdI is used for custom checks and modification of the data to update. For a complete check of the material data, use BAdI definition WRF_MAT_MAINTAINDATA togetehr with BAdI definition ARTMAS_BAPI_EXTEND. BAdI ARTMAS_BAPI_EXTEND is used in function module BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT, which updates the basic material data in function module WRF_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT.

The BAdI is not active in the standard configuration. No default coding is executed if a customer implementation does not exist.

The BAdI is filter-dependent. The filter value is "Data Origin". The following values are possible:

01 Material core master data maintenance
02 Material copy function
03 Material mass change
99 Not specified
10-98 Available for customer use

The BAdI does not support multiple use.
