WRF_ART_SCREENS_0001 - Edit Fiber Codes

In accordance with the Textile Labeling Law, textiles must have detailed specifications for the consumer, of the type and weight proportion of the textile raw materials (fibers) used. Therefore, you can enter up to five fiber parts for an article, including the percentage, in the article master maintenance.

In this Customizing activity, you define the permitted fibers that can be used in the maintenance of the article master data.

Since the availability of the function Textile Composition, you can enter more details for the fiber codes/textile fiber codes.

You have activated the Textile Composition function.

SAP does not deliver any predefined fiber codes. You can define your own fiber codes.

Define the fiber codes that you require, with their language-dependent description.

If the function Activate Textile Composition is switched on, you can maintain the ISO code and the fiber type, in addition to the fiber code and language-dependent description. You can also set the indicator Other Textile Fibers for exactly one textile fiber code. If this indicator is set, you can use this fiber code to group other fibers of a component, without having to specify them individually.

For a selected fiber code, select the Printoption to print the composition information of a fiber code in different contexts.

You can also decide if the selected fiber code should be considered as a special article by selecting the Special Articlecheckbox.

If there are any important document is maintained in the system in Document Master, and is relevant to the protected species management (PSM) function and logistics of articles, these document references can be associated to the composition data at the fiber level using the option Document Type.

If you allocate the fiber type Animal Origin - Subject to the Accurate Labelling of Products to a textile fiber code, and later use this fiber code in article maintenance, the indicator Cont. Non-Textile Parts of Animal Origin is set both on the level of the textile component and on the level of the article.
