WTY_READ_SUPPL_DATA - BAdI: Read Additional Data for Claim

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the component Warranty Processing (IS-A-WTY).

You can use this BAdI to read short texts for the catalog entries and/or measuring points for the object when you read a claim from the database or when you change the master data for the warranty object.

You also have to implement the BAdI WTY_CREATE_COPY when you make changes in the claim that do not directly affect the warranty object.

This BAdI has methods WTY_READ_SUPPL_DATA and MEASUREMENT_POINT_DETERMINE.

The default implementation reads the following data:

• Warranty object (equipment, installation, functional location, serial number/material number; with SAP Discrete Industries also vehicle) with header data

• Short texts for defect codes from catalog WTY1 and defect codes of type "C" in catalog from Customer Service (CS)

• Short texts for the item:
  Texts for the item type EXP (list) from the appropriate installed base
  Texts for the item type SUBL (external service) from catalog WTY3
  Texts for the item type FR (labor value) from catalog WTY2
  Texts for the item type MAT (material) from the material short text

• All measuring points for the object

• Only the version and item measuring points relevant to warranty. These are determined via the master warranty.
