This BAdI provides methods to create hierarchy level-specific implementations in a modification-free customer enhancement. The BAdI is called in article hierarchy maintenance. You can use the BAdI there to implement customer-specific navigation through an event pushbutton (method HIERARCHY_EVENT_INTERFACE). When you create a new hierarchy node, you can assign customer-specific node numbers for each hierarchy level (method HIERARCHY_NODE_ID_GET).

Methods

• HIERARCHY_EVENT_INTERFACE
  In article hierarchy maintenance, each hierarchy level in the article hierarchy provides for an event pushbutton. You can define the navigation from this pushbutton to any other program or transaction (such as plant master) through a modification-free customer enhancement. An option is available for navigating from the category level in the article hierarchy to the shop creation transaction, to maintain department store-shop assignments. An example implementation for a standard process is provided for this method.

• HIERARCHY_NODE_ID_GET
  When new hierarchy nodes are created in article hierarchy maintenance, you can assign a customer-specific node number at each hierarchy level.

• HIERARCHY_XML_FORMAT
  The article hierarchy or parts thereof can be extracted in XML format in article hierarchy maintenance. A default implementation is provided for this method, with which a maximum of seven levels of the article hierarchy can be extracted in XML format.

• HIERARCHY_NODE_ID_CHECK
  When you create hierarchy nodes manually in article hierarchy maintenance, you can check the ID for each individual customer at each hierarchy level.
