SAP E-Book

In this Customizing activity, you activate consignment processing, which enables you to use enhanced functions (compared to consignment processing in the standard SAP system) such as transferring goods to consignment stocks.

You edit table TCURM, which defines the central functions at client level such as activating the late material block or split valuation.

By default, consignment processing is inactive.

To activate consignment processing, set the Consignment Processing flag.

Please note that deactivating this function can cause inconsistencies, for example, the Consignment Control field is no longer evaluated for stock transfer orders. As a result, the existing supplier consignment stocks will have to be reposted manually first before you can transfer them. Therefore, before you deactivate this function, be sure to check whether there are any consignment stocks in transit in the system because these stocks will only be reduced when consignment processing is active.
