In this step, you assign a stock determination rule to each movement type.

• You have defined a stock determination strategy.

• You have assigned the appropriate stock determination group in the material master record for the materials concerned.

• You have already created the stock determination rule that you want to assign to a movement type in the step Define strategies for stock determination.

• If you have included the withdrawal of consignment and pipeline material in your plans for the stock determination strategy, you must maintain the purchasing info records pertaining to it.

Assign a stock determination rule to the chosen movement types.
