This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Settlement Management (LO-AB) and in the Global Trade Management (LO-GT) component. You can use this BAdI to control direct entries in the worklist for document adjustment (database table WIND) following a condition change.

By default, direct entries are created in the worklist for condition changes in accordance with the Customizing settings made for the relevant applications with regard to the:

  • Condition types for which adjustments are to be made
  • Types of condition changes for which entries are to be created (such as condition document, validity period, and indicator for pricing relevancy) for a specific document category

You can also fill variable fields with condition data for the entries that are to be created that will enable you to select the kind of follow-on processing you want for the different document categories. You also make the settings for the rules for filling the variable fields in Customizing.

With this BAdI, you can therefore:

  • Check whether an entry should be created in the worklist for a condition change at all (see examples). In this case, the BAdI functions like an additional filter in the creation of the worklist from condition changes.
  • Fill the variable fields differently to the general rules that were defined in the Customizing settings.

You have made the settings in Customizing for the relevant applications.

In the standard system, the BAdI is not active and it is filter-dependent as regards the document category. If no implementation was created for a document category, then the Customizing settings create the direct entries in the worklist and fill the variable fields.

In document category 10 (Retail Pricing), the pricing worklist function is used to adjust sales prices for materials whose purchasing conditions have been changed considerably. As sales prices are often only downloaded to the POS on a specific day, changes to conditions that are valid prior to such a key date are irrelevant. In this case, an entry in the worklist is therefore not required.

Condition changes for perishable articles, for which the pricing worklist function should not be used due to frequent changes, can be excluded from the creation of worklist entries.
