W_PPW_BADI_0013 - Determine POS Sales Data for Budget Update

You use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to determine the POS sales data for updating promotion budgets at the end of a promotion or during the period-end closing for budgets.

This BAdI forms the core of the program for updating budgets. An active implementation is therefore a prerequisite to be able to use the program. For details about the program flow, see the report documentation.

The POS sales data is determined using the only method in this BAdI: POS_DATA_READ.

There is a default implementation for this BAdI, in which the system determines the POS sales data from SAP BW. It uses the usual data retraction with analytical applications. For details about the required settings, see the documentation for the method.

See the prerequisites in the program for updating budgets.

This BAdI is not active when it is delivered.

Activate the default implementation if you if you want to read POS sales data from SAP BW. You also need to make the required settings for data retraction. Alternatively, if you want to determine the POS sales data from another data source, you can create your own implementation.
