In a calculation schema of an RMA calculation, you define which data is to be selected from the condition tables, and when, and which results are to be made available. This is ensured by having the data written back to the condition tables.

A calculation schema is split into calculation steps. A calculation step is defined by way of an indicator (above- or under-line) und die calculation level defined.

Processing occurs as follows: First, for all objects to be calculated, the steps with indicator A (above line) are carried out and then the steps with indicator U (under line). The calculated values of A are used in the steps with indicator U (also cross-object, if, for example, material group "abc" requires the goods receipts of all material groups of department "AB"). Within the indicator (A or U) the steps are carried out in numerical order of the calculation level.

You define pro calculation step a condition type through which the data from the condition tables is selected. The results can then be processed in up to three auxiliary fields. Instead of one condition type, which selects data from one condition table, you can use a dummy condition type. In this case, you can carry out a calculation operation with two auxiliary fields.

The result of a calculation step is always a calculation value which the system makes available in structure WRMA_COMM in the field DMBTR. The system writes this value back to the condition table using an update rule.

Assign the condition types and update rule used to an RMA profile.

We deliver a standard calculation schema for RMA calculation. The schema is assigned to the standard profile 0001.
