In this IMG activity, you make the system settings with which you can define pushbuttons for calling special maintenance functions for the material on the entry screen of the Material Masterapplication for maintaining materials in the SAP Retail Store.

These functions are part of the overall maintenance and the aim is that certain frequently occuring subtasks, such as the entry of an additional EAN, can be carried out more quickly. Therefore, when maintaining the function, you enter the number of a tab page that contains the subtask and which is opened directly when the button is pressed.

In the first substep, you create Customizing or grouping schema that group certain (required) functions. In a second substep, you assign these grouping schemas to the plants in your company so that the groupings take effect when you use the application in the plant concerned.

Assign the required functions to each grouping schema. For each function, specify the application mode, the number of the tab page and the pushbutton text.
