W_STW_VM_0003 - Grouping of Permitted Countries/Regions

In this IMG activity, you make the system settings that define the permitted or relevant countries/regions in the Vendor Masterapplication for maintaining vendors in the SAP Retail Store. The permitted countries/regions entered here are displayed in a dropdown list in the maintenance dialog when the input help for the Country/Regionfield is called.

In the first substep, you create Customizing or grouping schemas that group certain required countries/regions. You can also determine whether it is possible to enter a region for each country/region (represented by a country/region key). In the second substep, you assign the defined grouping schemas to the plants in your company , so that the groupings take effect when you use the application in the plants.

The country/region keys must already have been created in the system.

Assign the required country/region keys to each grouping schema. For each country/region key, you can use a flag to determine whether it is possible to enter a region or not.
