Setting this switch enables you to work with local vendors. These local vendors can only use the plants to which they are assigned.

You can maintain local vendors in SAP Retail Store.

In addition, in the standard vendor master maintenance, there is a pushbutton called "Retail Supplement", which opens a screen on which you can maintain the assignment of vendors to plants.
