Use

In this IMG activity you define the criteria to be provided to the user in the dropdown list.

To simplify the assignment of plants, you can set a grouping schema as the standard and then have this standard automatically applied to plants with no assigned grouping schema.

Requirements

Standard settings

Proceed as follows:

Define one or more grouping schemas depending on the requirements of the business processes in your plants. Assign the required criteria to each grouping schema.

In the overview screen of the grouping schemas, flag one grouping schema as the standard. You must do this even if you only use one grouping schema.

Assign the grouping schemas to the designated plants.

You do not need to make any entries for plants that are assigned the standard grouping schema.
