In this IMG activity, you make the system settings that define the permitted sales document types for the Sales Order application for the local entry of different sales documents in the SAP Retail Store.

The following sales document categories, for which the sales document types are to be maintained, are supported in the SAP Retail Store application:

• Inquiry (A)

• Quotation (B)

• Sales Order (C)

• Returns (H)

In the first substep, you create grouping schemas that group certain required sales document types in connection with the sales document categories. In the second substep, you assign these grouping schemas to the plants in your company, so that the groupings take effect when you use the application in the plants.

Assign the required sales document types in connection with the sales document categories to each grouping schema. You must flag a sales document type as the standard for each sales document category that is used.
