You can use the Business Add-In Follow-On/Replacement Material for Purchase Order Changes (WSUBST_X_PO_CHANGE_E) to change the data of a substitution item before you save the associated purchase order.

The BAdI provides the following method(s) for this purpose:
PO_CHANGE_BEFORE_SAVE

The following applies for this BAdI:

  • It is not active in the standard system and does not contain default code.
  • It can be used more than once.
    For this reason, the system calls up all active implementations.

To use the method of the Business Add-In, you must create a suitable implementation.
