In this Customizing activity, you define the trading contract types that meet the requirements of your business scenarios.
Under Fast Entry in Trading Contract, you can activate fast data entry as well as the inheritance of characteristic value assignments from a global item to the assigned local items.
In addition, you can define which of the following additional functions you want to use for inheritance:
- Inheritance log
- Overwriting manually maintained characteristic values
- Selection list for characteristics
You can also specify a characteristic and assign a default value for the characteristics display.
- You have completed all the Customizing activities relevant to your business requirements in Trading Contract and, if applicable, in the Customizing activity: Define Responsibility for Portfolios for the definition of responsibility groups.
Trading Contract Consolidation
Single-sided trading contracts are a prerequisite for trading contract consolidation.
SAP delivers trading contract type 0002 for purchasing side and 0003 for sales side. For trading contract consolidation, you must copyand adjust the trading contract types 0002 and 0003 as described:
- Copy both Trading Contract types.
- In the section Control of Price Determination, choose Using Standard Pricing in the Pricing field.
- Enter the trading contract consolidation relevant information as required and save your entries.
