SAP E-Book

In this Customizing activity, you configure default texts for the condition contract header.

As default, you can use a standard text - typically maintained with transaction SO10 SAPscript: Standard Texts for text object TEXT SAPscript standard texts - or you can use texts that are maintained for a certain business object such as supplier (text object LFA1 Central Supplier Texts) or customer-related texts (text object KNA1 Central customer texts). Note that business-related text objects with more than one business-related key field are not supported (see example).

You have defined text determination procedures for the condition contract header.

Choose New Entries and specify the text determination procedure for the condition contract header and a corresponding text ID, together with a sequence number, for which you want to configure a default text. Enter the source text object and the corresponding source text ID for this key.

If you have specified a source text object and source text ID for a standard text, enter a text name.

If you have specified a source text object and source text ID for a business object-related text, enter the field name from the condition contract header data to identify the business object.
Note: As only one field name from the condition contract header data is provided for business object identification, you can only specify a source text object with only one business object-related key field.

You can use KNA1 as a source text object as the only business-related key field is the customer. However, you cannot use KNVV Customer texts, sales as a source text object as it has four business-related key fields (customer, sales organization, distribution channel, and division).
