W_WD_GF_001 - Basic Settings for Enhanced Material Search

Under Basic Settings for Enhanced Material Search, you can define settings for the enhanced material search in the SAP Retail Store as a standalone application. You then store them in a Customizing schema. For more information about the different settings, see the field help for each field.

To simplify the assignment to plants, one Customizing schema is defined as the standard, which is then called automatically for any plants that have not been assigned to a Customizing schema.

Proceed as follows:

1. Define one or more Customizing schemas, depending on whether the requirements of the business process are the same or different in your plants.

Maintain the required basic settings for each Customizing schema.

1. On the overview screen for Customizing schemas, mark one Customizing schema as the standard.

You must set this flag, even if you only use one Customizing schema.

1. Assign the Customizing schema to your plants.

You do not need to make an entry for plants that are to use the standard Customizing schema.
