W_WD_GR_005 - Basic Settings for Enhanced Material Search

Under Basic Settings for Enhanced Material Search, you can define which settings you wish to use for the extended material search in the context of goods receipt in the SAP Retail Store.

Here you define basic settings for the extended material search help in the context of goods receipt and you save them in a Customizing schema. For more information on the different settings, see the help function for the relevant fields.

To simplify the assignment to plants, one Customizing schema is determined as the standard and this is then used automatically by way of integrated logic for those plants to which no Customizing schemas have been assigned.

Proceed as follows:

1. Define one or more Customizing schemas depending on whether the requirements of the business process are uniform or different in your plants.
   
   For each Customizing schema, maintain the preferred basic settings.
2. On the overview screen of the Customizing schemas, flag one Customizing schema as standard.
   
   You must flag one Customizing schema even if you use only one Customizing schema.
3. Now assign the Customizing schemas to your plants.
   
   For plants that are to use the standard Customizing schema, you do not need to make any entries due to the integrated logic.
