In this IMG activity, you make the system settings that control the entry and saving of store orders in the Store Order application of the SAP Retail Store.

In the first sub-step, you create a Customizing schema that contains the basic settings for the Store Order application. In the second sub-step, you assign the Customizing schema to the plants in your company so that these settings take effect in these plants when you use the application.

In the basic settings, you can maintain the following parameters:

  • Maximum number of vendors in dropdown box
If there are more vendors available in a plant than this number, a search function is provided instead of a dropdown box.
  • Display of materials that cannot be ordered
If you want to display materials that cannot be ordered, they will appear in a dialog box without a field for the quantity entry.
  • Switch on dialog box for single MRP
In the Retail Store Store Order, you can make settings for requirements for each material individually. If you select this option, the system will display a pushbutton in the dialog box for each item in the MRP list, allowing the user to navigate directly to a dialog box for an individual MRP. In an individual MRP, you can display information that is very detailed or difficult to obtain and therefore reduce the load on the MRP list.
  • Display current and expected stocks
If necessary, you can determine and display current stocks and expected goods receipts for each material individually. However, this function requires a large number of queries in the system. You can display the stock in the order unit of measure or in the base unit of measure.
  • Determine and display default quantities
If you choose this setting, the system displays an additional pushbutton in the dialog box for changing or creating default quantities.
You can choose whether the displayed default quantities should be determined from purchase requisitions or from special tables in the two-tier replenishment process. If there is no default quantity in the dialog for a material, the user can create a new purchase requisition or new entry in the replenishment tables by selecting the Change Default Quantities pushbutton. You can use this function to perform a check, for example, on replenishment. Using the authorization object M_BEST_WRK, you can control whether a user has authorization in the Retail Store Store Order to generate follow-on documents or only maintain default quantities.
If you select the Enable Default Quantity Mass Data Processing checkbox, the system displays an additional pushbutton in the order list, which can be used to load all valid requirements in a plant to the order list. Note that you can use the F1 help for this field.
  • Activate/deactivate separate posting
You can execute postings separately in the store order (as a background task). In this case, the documents generated in the store order cannot be displayed. Posting errors in non-simultaneous postings are logged in the application log (transaction SLG1) under the object W_SRS.
  • Rounding default quantities
If you select this indicator, the values in the default quantity fields in the SAP Retail Store Store Order are rounded. Do not use this rounding if you want to use a comprehensive "load building" rounding at a later stage. You can perform rounding on several levels for overdeliveries.
  • Maximum number of allowed schedule lines
Note that schedule lines can only be copied in purchase orders.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Define one or more Customizing schemas, depending on whether the requirements of the business process are the same or different in your plants.
Maintain the required basic settings for each Customizing schema.
  1. Mark one Customizing schema as standard on the overview screen of the Customizing schema.
You must set this indicator, even if you only use one Customizing schema.
  2. Assign the Customizing schema to your plants.
You do not need to make an entry for plants that are to use the standard Customizing schema.
