In this Customizing activity, you specify the pricing procedure determination for supplier billing documents, expense settlements, settlement documents and settlement document lists.

When you have specified M Purchasing for the application for price determination for the settlement document type of a supplier billing document, the system takes into account the schema groups for purchasing organizations, the supplier schema groups, and the document schema groups as key fields for the pricing procedure determination.
The determination involves two steps: First, the system searches for an entry with the country/region code assigned to the supplier billing document's company code. Second, when the first access was not successful, it searches for an entry without country/region code.

The pricing procedure determination for settlement documents and settlement document lists happens according to the pricing procedure determination type specified for the settlement process type.

You have defined

  • schema groups for purchasing organizations
  • supplier schema groups
  • document schema groups

You have maintained country/region codes for your company codes.

You have created the required pricing procedures.

For supplier billing documents and expense settlements, specify the pricing procedures for the relevant key fields.

For settlement documents and settlement document lists, specify the pricing procedures for the supplier side and, where required, the pricing procedures for the customer side for the relevant key fields. Note, that you can assign pricing procedures from application M Purchasing and V Sales/Distribution for flexibility reasons. However, you must ensure that your pricing procedure assignment must be consistent with the Application for Price Determination setting in the settlement document type.
