Define the activity reasons.

You can edit or create the activity reasons for settlement documents or document cancellations.

You enter the activity reasons that you want to use when settlement documents are processed, as follows:

• Enter an alphanumeric key of up to 3 characters.

• Enter a description for the settlement reason.

You can create a settlement reason as a default value in the settlement document type. You can change the settlement reason at any time when you process the individual settlement documents before the journal entry to accounting is created.

The settlement reason of the settlement document appears in the related journal entry in accounting in order to explain why the document was created.
