W_WLFA_0011 - Define Number Ranges

In this Customizing activity, you define the number range intervals for settlement management documents (number range object W_LFAKTURA Number Range for Settlement Management Documents).

For settlement management documents, numbers are only assigned internally, that means the system automatically assigns a consecutive number from a pre-defined range of numbers.

In a subsequent step, you assign number ranges to settlement document types.

To define a new number range interval, proceed as follows:

• On the Edit Intervals, Settlement Managemnt, Object W_LFAKTURA screen, choose Change intervals.

• On the following screen, choose Insert line.

• Enter an alphanumeric key of up to 2 characters for the new number range.

• Enter the lower limit in the From No. column and the upper limit in the To Number column.

The individual number range intervals must not overlap.
