In this Customizing activity, you create partner functions for message types in Settlement Management.

You also enter the type of message processing allowed for the combination of message type and partner function.

You must have defined the message types.

Define which partner functions are permitted for the message type, and define the type of message output.

Printer and fax are currently supported as transmission media.

In Settlement Management, partner maintenance is not possible at the moment:

• In message determination for a supplier, only partner functions 'VN' (supplier) and 'PI' (invoice presented by = invoicing party) are supported.

• In message determination for a customer, only the partner functions 'BP' (bill-to party = invoice recipient) and 'PY' (payer) are supported.
