The promotion type allows you to differentiate promotions from a technical point of view. It controls promotion processing and describes the special features of a promotion that are copied, for example, to the promotion header data.

The following entries are delivered in the standard system:

• 0001 Company advertising paper

• 0002 Promotion of sales

• 0003 Special flyer
