In this IMG activity, you activate markdown profile assignment in the SAP S/4HANA system.
You assign markdown profiles to materials in markdown control. This can take place in either SAP SEM or the SAP S/4HANA system. To avoid data inconsistencies, however, it is not possible to define assignments in both SAP SEM and the SAP S/4HANA system. If you decide to process the assignments in the SAP S/4HANA system, set the relevant indicator. You can then define the assignments in the SAP S/4HANA system.
If you use operational assortment planning and control in the SAP S/4HANA system, you have to assign the markdown profiles to materials in the SAP S/4HANA system.
