_CACS_VC_TCACS_LOS_T - Logical Service: Edit Tools

In this activity you define the tools for logical services.

For more information, see the SAP Library under Logical Service.

You want to create a new tool:

1. Choose New Entries.
2. Enter any name and a description for the tool then choose Enter.

Create one or more functions for this tool:

1. Select the row and double-click on Functions in the dialog structure.
2. Choose New Entries.
3. Enter an alphanumeric name of maximum two characters as a function.
4. Choose a function module.
5. If you want to define parameters for the object or object type class, choose the appropriate view.
6. Save your entries.
7. Double-click on Link in the dialog structure.
8. Choose New Entries.
9. Select the function that you have just defined.
10. Select an object type class. You can assign this function to more than one object type class.
11. Select a method for this object type class. You can only assign one method for each function and object type class.
12. If you have asigned a parameter view that is dependent on an object type class, choose Execute in the Maintain Tool Parameters field. You can enter the object parameters in the customizing activities for the definition of each object.
13. Save your entries.
