_CACS_VC_TCACS_PS_SP - Define Characteristics Combinations for Distribution Ratios
ABAP Short Reference BAL Application Log DocumentationThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this IMG activity you define the tables in which you want to define characteristics combinations for distribution ratios. You do so by entering the names of the tables for the IDs that define the entry point in a determination process. You can then assign these IDs to partnership types. The reason for this two-step assignment process is so that the simple determination that is the standard method for defining characteristics combinations for partnerships can be replaced by another method if required.
If you intend to use this standard method for defining determination criteria, this view provides the entry point for processing characteristics combinations (by pressing the button on the relevant line of the view).
You assign the IDs to partnership types in Customizing of Incentive and Commission Management under Configure Partnership Types.
You have chosen the Partnerships package in the IMG activity Select Commission Packages. We recommend the following procedure:
- To use the standard procedure for saving characteristics combinations, you must have created the
required tables in the application construction and added the relevant customer fields. These tables
are named
_PSSTABXX, where is the placeholder for your commission application and XX is a two-digit number.
- Then generate the commission application.
If you use this procedure, you should note that the definition of the characteristics combinations is restricted to one system (generally the development system); downstream systems are supplied by versioned Customizing.
The reason for this is that the system prompts you to use a number range for new entries, and consistent numbering is very important for the Partnerships package to function correctly.
