In this IMG activity you determine structures for the definition of credentials.

If you want to describe the attributes of a credential type and its assignments in the form of tables and you are using the standard editing functions, you must store these tables in this activity.

If you use the application construction to describe credentials, the table names always have the following format:

  • <APPL>_AS<XX> for assignment tables belonging to normal credential descriptions
  • <APPL>_AF<XX> for referencing credential descriptions
  • <APPL>_AAS<XX> for assignment tables belonging to referencing credential descriptions

Here, <APPL> means your credentialing application and <XX> is a two-digit instance number (in the customer namespace).

For each credential type, enter the table names that you intend to use for the description of the credential type and credential assignment.

Note that you do not define any tables in the application construction, but the structures from which the tables are made up. You must create the name of the table from the instance number of the generated structures and the name of your application.

If your application is called YMYAPP and you have defined in the application construction two structures, YMYAPP_S_CHK07 (for check-relevant fields) and YMYAPP_S_NOC07 (for non-check-relevant fields), that you want to use to define a credential type, you must specify the related table YMYAPP_CRD07 for the credential descriptions.
