In this activity, you allocate the master data template that the system uses to automatically create or change technical objects in IS-U during creation in customer engagement.

You can define division-dependent master data templates for points of delivery. If you do not do this, the system uses a standard template.

The following template categories are available:

  • S4C_UT_CONfor connection objects
  • S4C_UT_PRMfor premises
  • S4C_UT_PODfor point of deliveries
  • S4C_UT_POD_INSTfor point of delivery and installation

You define your master data generator template in the following way:

  1. Choose an object type to which you want to assign the template:
  • CON Connection Object

  • PRM Premise

  • POD Point of Delivery

  1. Choose a division.
    Note:
To assign a division for point of delivery you have to choose a template, which generates point of delivery and installation. For point of delivery and installation you have to define an extra template for each division.
  2. Assign a master data template.
  3. Assign a master data template for checks.

Note:

Checks are executed before the data is saved, nevertheless the check is only triggered when the save button is pressed.

Note:
To create or edit master data templates and checks go to transaction EPRODCUST. To define the structure of the template go to transaction EPDTYPE.

The following example templates are provided:

  • CRMS4_IU_CON
  • CRMS4_IU_PRM
  • CRMS4_IU_POD (without installation)
  • CRMS4_IU_POD_INST (with installation)

The following example templates for checks are provided:

  • CRMS4_IU_CON_CHECK
  • CRMS4_IU_PRM_CHECK
  • CRMS4_IU_POD_CHECK
