By default, under Define Bank Clearing Accounts, you can assign only one house bank account in a company code to a bank clearing account. Here, you have the option to assign additional house bank accounts to a bank clearing account, where the assigned attributes are inherited by the additional allowed combinations.
If the bank clearing account is a cash account, postings to this account are not possible without specifying a house bank and account ID.
