In this IMG activity, you can define the activities that the system executes when processing a business partner duplicate.

You can specify the processing level on which the system is to execute the activity for duplicate processing and the function module which controls the behavior of the activity.

The following processing levels are available:

The processing activities you define in this IMG activity are executed by the system when you run the report Processing of Business Partner Duplicates (RFKK_BPCL_PROCESS). You can call the report on the SAP Easy Access screen of Collections/Disbursements under Master Data -> Business Transactions -> Process Business Partner Duplicates.

In the standard system, Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) delivers the activity Transfer Posting of Related Open Items (activity 010).

Collections and Disbursements (FS-CD) provides the following additional activities:

  • Adjustment of Open Payment Plan Items (activity V01)
  • Transfer of Open Items with Alternative Collecting Broker (activity V02)

The namespace with an initial numerical character is reserved for FI-CA. Customer namespaces for new activities begin with the letters Y* and Z*.

Create your own processing activities and enter the function module that is to run the activities.

Note that the interfaces of all function modules defined in Customizing must correspond to the interface of the sample module FKK_SAMPLE_BCL (Call of Activity for Duplicate Processing).

Also specify the processing levels at which the system is to run the defined activities.
