In this activity, you define consumption item classes.

You make settings for consumption item classes by following these steps:

• Selection of interface components

• Selection of customer fields

• Management of tables for consumption items

• Management of indexes for database tables

• Changing the configuration status

• Activation of the configuration
  
  

Once you have completely defined a consumption item class, and you have set the appropriate status for both the configuration and activation, then you can generate interfaces.

To be able to select customer fields, these fields must exist in the system. For more information, see the documentation.

SAP does not supply any classes.

Define the classes you need to satisfy your technical requirements. The settings you make here influence the database tables, as well as the interfaces for the data transfer.
