_FICABI_TFK8022 - Define Billing Process

In this IMG activity, you define the billing process. The billing process determines the billing type for billing. The billing type defines the main transaction and the document type for billing.

You can only create a billing process if a billing type is define in the IMG activity Define Billing Type.

Maintain billing processes for billing. Assign a three-digit number as the technical identification for the billing process. Maintain a billing type for the billing process.

Use the attribute Express Billing to control whether the billing process can process billing accounts that are flagged for express billing. If your billing process is flagged for express billing, you should also specify a billing delay in hours.

Examples of billing processes:

• Process 001 "normal billing" with billing type 001 "normal billing" and a billing delay of five hours.

• Process 002 "express billing" with billing type 002 "express billing" and a billing delay of zero hours.
