In this activity, you can define assignment groups.

These assignment groups are a grouping characteristic that you can use in the configuration of discounts and charges as well as in the technical settings and the account assignment settings for base items.

If you use the assignment group as a selection characteristic, you can determine the above-mentioned settings for a group of discounts or charges.

You can also make these settings directly in the production system. When doing so, note that transporting settings from a test system to the production system overwrites the existing settings in the production system.

Once you have entered the assignment group in the configuration of a discount key or charge key, the above settings apply for the discount or charge.

1. You define assignment group ZG1.
2. You activate the assignment group as a key field in posting areas 8117 and 8118 end enter ZG1.
3. You make all other necessary setting in the posting areas.

If you have entered assignment group ZG1 in the configuration of a discount/charge key, the above settings apply for the discount or charge.
