_FICABTIC_IND_INTEXE - Define Interest Exemptions on Overdue Items

When a customer delays a payment, the company may choose to charge interests on overdue items. In this IMG activity you can define the parameters based on which, the company grants an exemption percentage on the Interest on Overdue Items.

You can define exemption percentage based on Region (State) and Account Class, for example exemption percentages for domestic consumers in Karnataka may differ from exemption percentages for domestic consumers in Maharashtra.

You also specify a period for the waiver of interests payable.

The system considers the values maintained in this IMG activity in the event module 2075- FKK_SAMPLE_2075_IND.

If you want the system to process interest calculations along with invoicing, ensure that you have activated the Calculate interest for debit items in invoicing indicator. You can do so using the IMG activity, Define Control for Additional Invoicing Functions.
