Use this IMG activity to define the Security Deposit limits for interest calculations. You can define the Security Deposit limit as:

Tolerance Limit

In this case, you do not specify an Interest Key against a particular security deposit amount. The system considers the amount mentioned in the Security Deposit field as the Tolerance Limit for interest calculations.

Slab based limit

In this case, you specify an Interest Key in the IMG activity against a particular security deposit amount. The system calculates interest for the various Security Deposit amounts as per their Interest Keys in a slab based manner.

Note

The system considers the values maintained in this IMG activity while processing event module 2005 - ISU_SAMPLE_2005_IND.

If you want the system to process interest calculations along with invoicing, ensure that you have activated the Calculate interest for cash security deposit in invoicing indicator. You can do so using the IMG activity, Define Control for Additional Invoicing Functions.
