_FICABT_V_TFK080E - Maintain Conditional Locks

In this IMG activity, you define conditional processing locks. You can use processing locks to lock an object, such as a line item, for further processing under certain circumstances. If these circumstances no longer apply, you can automatically remove the lock using the function Check Conditional Locks (menu: Periodic Processing -> For Contract Accounts).

A commission paid due to an insurance contract being set up should only be paid when the first contract premium is paid. The document items in the commision then receive a conditional lock, which contains the document number from the first premium as a reference key. You also define the corresponding lock in the Customizing activity (for example, item was cleared). You then program a corresponding function module that checks the lock for the commission contract items. A sample function module is provided by SAP (FKK_SAMPLE_CHECK_DOC_PAYED).

1. Program a function module by copying the sample FKK_SAMPLE_CHECK_DOC_PAYED and adapting it to your requirements. This guarantees that you have the correct interface.
2. Execute this IMG activity and define an activity key in which you then store the function module.
