In this activity, you assign consumption item classes to classes for chargeable items in SAP Convergent Charging. In addition, you can assign fields in consumption item classes to different field names in SAP Convergent Charging.

You have defined consumption item class Z001 for storing telephone calls in Convergent Invoicing. In your SAP Convergent Charging system, there is a corresponding class for chargeable items with the name "Communication Services".

You assign class Z001 to the class for chargeable items "Communication Services".
