Define the areas for which the foreign currencies are to be valuated or for which receivables are indicated as doubtful/ individually value adjusted.

For each set of accounting principles (HGB, IAS, US GAAP, and so on), define a separate valuation area.

Note

As a new customer, you can assign accounting principles to ledgers and company codes in SAP Central Business Configuration (configuration activity Assign Accounting Principles to Ledgers and Company Codes).
Ensure that the settings you make there match the settings in this configuration activity.
