In this activity, you define rule variants. Rule variants are used during the configuration of Information Lifecycle Management (BC-ILM) to determine the retention period for the application object FI-CA Business Partner.

The system, in which Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable is running, determines the rule variants from the combination of application object and company code that you enter in the activity Specify Determination of Rule Variants.
