_FICAODN_VTFKODNCTXT - Assign Customer-Specific Classes to Countries/Regions

In the standard system, official document numbering with number groups is activated for selected countries/regions (see table TFK_ODN_LAND). Standard classes are used to create the official document numbers (ODNs) (see table TFK_ODN_CONF).

In this Customizing activity, you can do the following:

• Override the standard class that is used to create the ODNs by assigning a customer-specific class to a country/region

• Add new countries/regions for which official document numbering is not activated in the standard system and assign a customer-specific class that is used to create the ODNs

• Define that the specified customer-specific class uses the business place to determine the relevant number range
  If you select the BuPla checkbox, you can then enter the business place in the Customizing activity Assign Number Ranges to Company Codes and Document Classes.
  To use this function, however, you must implement the required coding in the customer-specific class.

Note that you cannot enter certain countries/regions in this Customizing activity because of legal restrictions. For more information, see the metadata in the table TFK_ODN_LAND. If the checkbox Only SAP Class Used for ODN Generation is selected for a country/region, you are not permitted to assign a customer-specific class to that country/region.
