In this activity, you can specify the code that your customers can use to select refill packages. You can assign various packages to a selection code on a time-dependent basis. You can thereby circumvent the restrictions that result from the fact that refill packages are not allowed to be changed once they are used for the first time.

Example 1

Starting from January 1, 2011, you offer your customers a refill of 50 SMS and 50 voice minutes for a price of USD 9.90. You define refill package STANDARD_01 accordingly.
Starting on January 1, 2012, you offer your customers 60 SMS and 60 voice minutes for the same price. You define the appropriate package STANDARD_02 with 60 units for each.
You define the selection code STANDARD, so that your customers do not have to get used to a new name, and since customers continue to use package STANDARD_01 even after it was actually replaced by STANDARD_02. You assign the package STANDARD_01 starting from January 1, 2011 to this selection code, and starting from January 1, 2012, you assign the package STANDARD_02. Your customers only have to enter the name STANDARD.

Example 2
You define packages as in the first example. During Christmas week, you want to grant your customers a bonus of 10 SMS and 10 voice minutes. To do so, you assign the package STANDARD_01 to the selection code STANDARD starting from January 1, 2011. Starting on December 24 you assign the package STANDARD_02, and starting on January 1, 2012 you again assign the package STANDARD_01.
