_FND_PPJ_TBKK_PAR - Define the Scope, Category, and Mode of the Number Assignment

In this Customizing activity you define the maximum number of processes that are processed in parallel for an application. You also select the category for number determination for each work process (dialog, background processing).

Note:

To ensure optimum parallel processing, you must also activate the Optimize Totals Update Indicator in the Customizing activity Make Settings for Number Determination.

If you do not carry out this Customizing activity, parallel processing does not occur for the relevant application.

If you enter a value in the Maximum Quantity of Numbers Possible for Each Application field and do not set the Optimize Total Update indicator in the Customoizing activity Make Settings for Number Determination, parallel processing takes place according to randomly determined values in the range for the maximum amount of numbers. If this is the case, the effects of serialization can occur.

If you enter a value in the Maximum Quantity of Numbers Possible for Each Applicationfield and set the Optimize Totals Update indicator in the Customizing activity Make Settings for Number Determination, parallel processing takes place according to the optimized entries in the distribution table.
