Be aware of the following:

In this step, you should not define any of the combinations of budget type and budget subtype that you have already flagged as eligible for cover in step "Enter settings for budget subtypes" (Revs incr. budget with budget memo, A with bdgt memo 'DF'.

If you want to flag combinations of budget type and budget subtype as eligible for cover, you should have executed the Customizing for budget subtypes. For further information on this subject, refer to sections:

  • If in step "Set Budget Profile", you defined that the availability control should check against releases (annual release), the settings in this step have no effect. Released budget is in this case always eligible to cover.
Note that this prerequisite does not apply to German Government customers.
  • If you are a German Government customer, the settings for the payment budget and commitment budget must be the same.

No budget types are flagged as eligible for cover in the standard system.

Create a cover eligibility profile and enter the budget types and combinations of budget types and budget subtypes that should be eligible for cover for the profile.
