In this step, you make the settings for Distribution Procedure 1.

You must make the following definitions:

  • Define surplus FM account assignment

When you make a budget increase using program RFFMUD01, the residual revenue that is not to have a budget increasing effect on the expenditure FM account assignments goes into the surplus FM account assignment.
The surplus FM account assignment defined here does not appear as a default value in the rule maintenance for revenues increasing the budget. You can, however, specify a surplus FM account assignment in rule maintenance, which differs from the one in Customizing.
The revenues gathered in the surplus FM account assignments can be transferred manually from the surplus FM account assignment to another expenditures FM account assignment.
  • Whether or not a minimum revenue should have a budget increasing effect
If you stipulate that the minimum revenue should have a budget increasing effect, it will increase the budget of the surplus FM account assignment.
  • Whether or not the rules for a budget increase defined in master data maintenance may be changed during document entry.

The surplus FM account assignment must be created as an expenditures FM account assignment within master data maintenance.

  1. Choose whether the minimum revenue should have a budget increasing effect or not.
  2. If you are entering revenues with the accounts receivable accounting component (FI-AR), you must choose predefined in the "Increase rule is in document" frame.
  3. Specify a surplus FM account assignment.
